Gold Gann Angle Update

The gold bull has passed a bullish test, it has bounced off the blue 1x1 Gann Angle twice!


Recently Jamie Dimon smashed bitcoin as a fraud. In truth this was an attempt to shake out bitcoin players, and slow down the block chain development, or more importantly slow down block chain developers to allow JPM to be first. What block chain development ? Our guess is block chain that allows peer to peer gold and silver transfer. JPM knows that COMEX and LME will be the Nokia to Apple iPhone when block chain provides a world wide service for peer to peer gold transfer of ANY SIZE!

A bullish fundamental behind gold is the fact that true price discovery is coming to the metals markets on the back of development of peer to peer gold transfer via block chain. Bitcoin will be crushed by gold or silver block chain (until the Govt's get pissed!).

They make money when you change positions in your account. They desire you to change direction of your account, they care not of the direction of the security.

- Commodities is the new thing

Currently the herd is in: Short VIX, Long SP500, Short Bonds

Yes, they may be correct, but it is the frequency of the change which suits your Wall Street broker.

Consider this very accurate analogy.

The investing public are the sheep, the broker is sheep dog, the farmer is the back room strategist, and the paddock gate is the point of commission. Moving from one paddock to another is the change from one investing theme to another, and if the sheep do not move fast enough the sheep dog scares them enough to move. Yes this is Wall Street in its purest form!

The trick for the savvy investor is to pick (or be first, or contrarian investing ) the new paddock before Wall street herd the public into it, this allows you to enjoy the price rise from new buying. Of course Wall street knows which paddock to target. They never lose!

This is why you must never fall in love with your positions, all trends end, new ones are born, and do not be last in to the new trend.

Distribution Logic and the USD dollar

The USD dollar is very important, we now have a problem, the sell off in the $USD is weakness. Be worried!


We can see the buying climax (BC) , followed by a automatic reaction (AR), a test (T) and we also have a up thrust after distribution (UTAD) and the sell off to support, a clear Sign of Weakness (SOW). The concern is the $USD has fallen from a break out of resistance to previous support, sure $USD is very oversold, and you can expect a bounce, and the bounce will have all traders considering loading up large shorts (expect a last point of supply LPS). This is a classic Wyckoff distribution pattern. Of course traditional charts readers may call this a 'head and shoulders' once the LPS has formed. Keep watching!

Of course those outside the USA holding US paper assets wont be pleased, and like before a falling $USD creates portfolio adjustments, buying non USA stocks and bonds, etc. Also you can expect support for real assets (oil, metals, art).
